My love of making things started with my fifth-grade newspaper, a dot matrix printer and an impressive amount of clipart. The printer and clipart have since been retired, but the urge to figure things out for myself stuck. I went on to code a GeoCities site by hand and teach myself Photoshop before I ever picked up a camera. My first paid creative work was restoring photos. Photography later grew into a business, and I added video production, professional design work and digital content along the way. I've learned by reading, watching, experimenting and following my curiosity wherever it leads.

Perpetually curious. There's always something new to learn and I don't want to miss it.

Then AI handed me the language of code, and it opened up a whole new place to create. Now I build my own web apps, including the tools behind this site and Steps Ahead (opens in a new tab), a project tracker I designed and built for my marketing clients. It keeps us on the same page without asking them to pay for one more subscription. I treat everything I build the way I treat a design: planned with care, tested before anything goes live, and built with security in mind.

Today I'm the Creative Director for F+L Boutique and F+L Home in Middletown, Delaware, where I create product photography, graphics, website content, social campaigns and event materials. My wider work includes branding and web design, tourism and interiors photography, corporate events, food and lifestyle imagery, and interview-driven promotional videos. I like work that feels polished and thoughtful, with enough personality to feel like it belongs to someone.
