There are many things that make fall a wonderful time of year: the weather, the food, the beautiful colors, the family gatherings and the moments when we express our thankfulness for family, friends, and the many blessings in our lives. Melissa and Will’s wedding was beautiful and abundantly filled with everything that makes fall so special. Below are some of my favorite images we captured to help them remember the little moments that were so important to them on their wedding day. These are some of the happiest moments of a day that I know they will always treasure.

Melissa & Will’s Wedding in Seaford, Delaware
Friday, November 26th, 2010Matthew & Heather’s Wedding at Wild Quail Country Club – Delaware
Thursday, September 30th, 2010At this point in my photography career, I have relied solely upon word-of-mouth advertising. I met Heather and Matt through Caleb and Julia, whom I met through William and Melissa.
I feel really honored that my business growth so far has simply been from people talking about my photography and shooting style through their personal experiences with me. A personal, candid review and suggestion from a friend means a lot more than if someone found me by simply flipping through the yellow pages/clicking through a Google search.
I first got to know Matt and Heather when I did their family/engagement session on the beach. They are fun, laid back people (just my type!) and their wedding was just as fun and laid back. It was perfectly planned to fit their personalities.
My husband, Ken and I really enjoyed shadowing them on their wedding day and capturing these images. With a wonderful family surrounding them, beautiful daughters, and perfect weather — I think it’s safe to say that this wedding was everything Matt and Heather hoped it would be. Can I also just say that I would kill to have Heather’s beautiful smile and fantastic figure?
I hope Matt & Heather are having a great time on their honeymoon in Vegas (say “Hi!” for me to Baby Carlos!!!) and can’t wait for them to see these photos when they get back!
Julia & Caleb’s Wedding in Dover, Delaware
Monday, August 16th, 2010Below are some photos from Julia and Caleb’s wedding this past May. You may remember the guestbook album I posted a while back from their engagement photos. Well, they ended up loving the album so much that they couldn’t bear to let anyone write in it! It turned into a regular engagement album.
I hope they loved their wedding photos just as much!
Trisha & Brandon’s Wedding in Fallston, Maryland
Thursday, August 12th, 2010I’m a bit behind on the blogging scene, so I hope to catch up a little bit in the next few days. I’m going to start with this beautiful backyard ceremony in Fallston, Maryland.
On one mid-afternoon in May, while surrounded by their closest friends and family members, Trisha and Brandon made a lifelong commitment to love and cherish each other forever.
I look forward to photographing their larger wedding celebration in April 2011, but I know that the intimate vows they shared under that old tree in the backyard will be what first comes to mind when they remember how they began their lives together as a husband and wife.
Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.”
