I took Liz’s pregnancy photos just a couple of months ago, and now I’m happy to followup that post with pictures of her beautiful baby girl. This stunning little one is a perfect match to her two beautiful older siblings, and of course, their gorgeous mother. 
Since her daughters were on a break from school, I had the opportunity photograph all three and turned the baby portrait session into an all female family session.
I had a great time taking photos of the “T” family one hot summer day at Longwood Gardens – one of my favorite locations to take portraits!! It was such a scorcher that morning that the staff at Longwood were actually giving out free water! Thank goodness for these two beautiful, sweet children and their easy going temperaments.
Miss T & Mr T’s reward for being such good subjects was a jaunt around the cool water-play area of the children’s garden at Longwood.
Thank you to their mom for letting me spend so much time to make sure I got all of the photos we needed!!

Last week I headed to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware to take some family photos of Matt, Heather and their two beautiful daughters. After we each made about 10 loops around the main thoroughfare and found parking spots, the fun began! Since I’m based in northern Delaware, I do not get to take many photos on the southern Delaware beaches, so I enjoyed the change of scenery.

When my daughter started school last fall, I was a bundle of nerves, but mostly excited and happy for her to experience new things. She is a very social little girl and loves to be around other children. I knew she would have fun making new friends and learning like a sponge, as children have a tendency to do. Little did I know that I too, would make a new friend at her school!
On one of the very first school days I met Crystal. I heard her mentioning that she was headed to the local gym to workout — which is where I was also going to kill some time while my daughter was in school. We ended up going together and were pretty much together every school day since, as we headed to the gym or park to exercise together.
This summer she and her family wrapped up a long chapter and moved away to begin what I know will be some of the most joyful moments of their lives. I will miss my “exercise buddy” this fall when my daughter starts school again, but mostly, I’ll really miss a great friend.
Below are a few photos I took of Crystal and her family at Gibraltar Gardens in Wilmington, Delaware.
You may recognize the beautiful woman (Nina) in these photos from some of the portfolio photos on my website. I first met her via a friend: Ruben of Studio H Photography. He’d first worked with her through Model Mayhem and Nina and I were introduced during a photoshoot he invited me to. Oh, I guess I should mention -which- beautiful woman, since there are obviously two! Nina is the one in the bottom row/middle of the black and white photos. The other lovely woman is her mother.
Nina contacted me to shoot a family portrait session with her family in Longwood Gardens, PA as a gift to her mother for Mother’s Day. Yes, please! A beautiful family in a beautiful location, on a beautiful day with beautiful lighting. I couldn’t ask for more.
