I’m a bit behind on the blogging scene, so I hope to catch up a little bit in the next few days. I’m going to start with this beautiful backyard ceremony in Fallston, Maryland.
On one mid-afternoon in May, while surrounded by their closest friends and family members, Trisha and Brandon made a lifelong commitment to love and cherish each other forever.
I look forward to photographing their larger wedding celebration in April 2011, but I know that the intimate vows they shared under that old tree in the backyard will be what first comes to mind when they remember how they began their lives together as a husband and wife.
Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two.”

Beautiful work!! Was that first image shot with a tilt-shift lens? Very cool effect.
Thank you, Andy!!!
I did a Photoshop tilt-shift effect, because I love the look. I hope to add a tilt-shift lens to my bag soon, though!!!
